"Hey there! I'm hungry!"

Have you ever "seen" a Hummingbird talk? I believe I have. He came right up to the kitchen window, not once or twice, but three times . . . each time returning to the empty feeder pecking at it a time or two then back to the window as if to say: "Hey there! Can't you see I'm hungry here?" I promptly obliged, fixed more red liquid, and filled the feeder. Sadly, I haven't seen
him since.
